Job description

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking UT Level II Technicians (NDT) for full-time employment for our New Kensington, PA
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:
Candidate must be flexible and possess ability to work in Shop environment for a variety of industries such as Aerospace, FAA, Construction, Oils & Gas (manufacturing) and DoD. To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • In-house plant/shop atmosphere.
  • Interaction with other crew employees, as well as supervisors and clients.
  • Working in plant and/or shop areas around other NDT inspection equipment and Forklifts moving parts around can cause elevated noise levels.
  • Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.

Applicants must be able to provide the following QA Documents:
  • Level II UT Technician (900hrs)
  • The candidate must have experience or prior certification as an NDE Level II technician with adequate, documented experience hours as required by ASNT-TC-1A Standard or NAS 410
  • Aerospace Experience is a major plus

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds.
  • Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employees to communicate effectively.
  • Sufficient vision or other powers of observation, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employees to conduct inspections.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a professional manner with fellow employees.
