Job description

Broadridge is growing! We are actively seeking a Quality Control Inspector for our South Windsor facility.

This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will work 100% of the time.

Basic Purpose: Review random samples of finished work against specified criteria to ensure the production processes are in control and producing quality work. Results are entered into a database to be used by Production Operations in quality improvement efforts. Quality Control Inspectors are typically the final set of eyes on the work prior to entering the mail stream. Reports to manager

Job Responsibilities:

Routine inspections to verify correctness and quality of jobs produced in area of responsibility, including but not limited to print quality, statement integrity, and accuracy of postage. Confirm the Production Operations process is in control. Communicates and escalates error to production staff as necessary. Assist with recovery. Diligently enter data from inspection results into a dedicated database where applicable for every inspection performed. May perform other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Read, write and understand the English language
  • Flexibility in work schedule, based on volume needs, which could require weekends, holidays and/or overtime
  • Promote a professional work environment and adhere to all Broadridge policies

Skills/Competencies:

  • Typically requires 1 - 3 years of related experience
  • General familiarity with a computer including MS-Outlook
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfort around higher management
  • Ability to work under some pressure
  • Physical & Mobility Requirements:

The individual is expected to spend the majority of the shift standing and walking on hard surfaces while moving throughout the facility. The role requires frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and repositioning to complete tasks. The individual must maintain balance and agility while navigating work areas, remain on their feet for extended periods, and perform repetitive physical movements throughout the shift. Sitting may be required in limited circumstances; such requirements will be determined and communicated by leadership based on the nature of the task and operational needs.

Shift: LWN- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Alt Saturday 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM

Hourly Rate: $19.50 - $21.75 USD per hour depending on experience - Bonus Eligible
