Job description

PrideStaff is seeking a Quality Control candidate for our client in Hollywood. The ideal candidate will perform the material handling and warehouse functions required in the receiving, quality control, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies. Must have experience in Aviation
Qualifications:

  • 5 years minimum of experience in the aviation industry, in inspecting parts and paperwork.
  • Computer skills necessary to operate word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, inventory management, tracking, and web-based applications.
  • Planning and organizational skills necessary to prioritize, assign, and coordinate the workload of the designated area and employees within a multi-project setting.
  • Interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals, departments, customers, vendors, and management.
  • 2 or more years of experience in the warehouse industry, stockroom, and/or material handling.
  • Demonstrate leadership ability.
  • Verbal and written communication skills; speak, understand, and follow directions in English.
  • Able to lift  45 lbs.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.


Responsibilities:

  • Review inbound shipments and verify traceability and documentation received.
  • Perform material handling operations, for example, inventory, shipping and receiving, inspections, and tooling, to ensure inventory control and accuracy.
  • Satisfy internal and external customer shipping deadlines.
  • Administer vendor and carrier contracts to ensure the provision of agreed-upon service(s) and/or product(s).
  • Assist the team in resolving complex inventory discrepancies to determine the root causes and develop recommendations for corrective action.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all customer requirements.
  • Assist with processing drop shipment documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screening.
