Job description

Position Summary:
Responsible for execution of HMMA process and vehicle evaluation activities that are undertaken to provide the highest quality zero-defect solutions for our customers in an automotive manufacturing environment.
Essential Functions:
  • Implement In-Line Process Evaluation activities utilizing Quality Index Report to focus shop specific process audits; validate shop quality level, strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement; collect data; and validate countermeasure implementation and effectiveness.
  • Implement Supplier Process Evaluation activities utilizing Quality Index Report to identify supplier strengths and weaknesses and areas for improvement; collect data; and validate countermeasure implementation and effectiveness.
  • Audit and validate VPC (Vehicle Processing Center) inspection data and findings; communicate findings to appropriate parties; drive problem resolution and improvement.
  • Conduct Process Work Station Evaluation - validate Production/Inspection activities for safety critical check point
  • Audit/validate new model critical customer quality concerns.
  • Validate Pilot build quality.
  • Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements.
  • Meet all other requirements as assigned.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred
Related Experience:
  • 0 - 10 years job related experience preferred
  • Experience in process/vehicle evaluation and/or vehicle part quality testing desired
  • Auditing experience desired

Training / Certification:
ISO 90001/TS169949 certified Internal Auditor
