Summary:

Support production and engineering by ensuring products meet specifications. Experience with machining, blueprint interpretation, and proficiency in operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)is highly valued.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Inspect products to ensure compliance with technical drawings and specifications.
  • Perform measurements using equipment such as calipers, micrometers, profilometers, roughness testers, visual measurement systems, and others.
  • Conduct measurements using CMM and develop new measurement programs for CMM.
  • Perform tests, analyze results, generate detailed reports, and recommend machining adjustments.

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

  • Proficient in reading blueprints.
  • Experienced in using conventional measuring equipment.
  • Proficient with CMM equipment (Zeiss/Mitutoyo preferred).
  • Skilled in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Familiarity with machine tools, such as milling machines and lathes, is a plus.

Education:

  • HS diploma or AA degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • 3+ years in quality control, preferably in manufacturing.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

  • Manufacturing environment requiring walking, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Prolonged focus on visual tasks, including data entry on a computer and inspections.

Schedule Options:

  • 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday | 4:15 PM - 2:45 AM

  • Weekend Day Shift: Friday-Sunday | 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM

  • Weekend Night Shift: Friday-Sunday | 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
