Purpose
The role of the Regional Quality Manager is to provide a single authoritative interface to the region on all aspects of quality management including process compliance, audits, CAPA, containment, risk management and performance reporting. The role manages quality resources and drives quality standards, improvements and escalates where necessary to reduce risk and prevent failure.
Tasks
  • Drive quality standards, improvements, and metrics across regional systems, processes, release management and testing activities. Provide critical assessment while intervening and escalating where necessary to reduce risk and prevent failure
  • Manage quality resources to ensure personal development, high standards of performance, and execution of key deliverables including risk management, and lessons learned which drive run success and reliability
  • Drive continuous improvement through regular process audits and improvement suggestions on cost of quality, inefficiencies, gaps in testing as well as risks and opportunities in processes
  • Ensure root cause analysis of process failures and drive containment, corrective, and preventative actions to completion
  • Ensure all available information regarding failures is collected, CAPA investigation initiated in the system, and drive the process until a champion has been defined
  • Ensure customer concerns are resolved and the provision of NCR reports and information within agreed timelines
  • Ensure proactive and regular communication on risks and opportunities through quality alerts, lessons learned reviews, and staff meetings.
  • Manage regional internal and external audits (customer, certification body etc.) and ensure successful outcomes

Requirements
  • Internal auditing qualification (ISO 9001) is required
  • Must be proficient in spoken and written English, Spanish would be a plus
  • Knowledge in process analysis and improvements (transactional Six Sigma) required
  • Knowledge of Industry standards (e.g. API 1163, POF) strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, ideally in the oil and gas sector
  • Previous experience in conducting quality audits is required
  • Experience working in the pipeline inspection service industry is preferred
