Job description

Location: City of Industry, California (On-site)

Compensation: $140,000 to $180,000 per year, plus a company bonus plan targeting roughly 20 percent (approximately $36,000 annually)

A precision investment and sand casting manufacturer serving commercial aerospace, defense, and industrial gas turbine platforms is hiring a senior NDT leader to own its Non-Destructive Testing program end to end.

What You'll Own

- Administer and maintain NDT/X-Ray qualification and certification programs across Level I, II, and III

- Train, examine, and certify NDT personnel, and maintain certification records and experience hours

- Perform and oversee inspections to NAS 410 and customer specifications, including VT, PT, and RT (Film, CR, and DDA)

- Interpret casting quality and confirm specification compliance on aerospace parts and welds

- Select and approve NDT methods, procedures, and work instructions; record and evaluate results and issue NDT and QA reports

- Maintain equipment and calibration requirements, audit outside agencies, and enforce written practice compliance

What You'll Bring

- Minimum 10 years as an NDT Level II, or a minimum of 2 years as an NDT Level II paired with a 2-year degree in science or engineering

- Previous NAS 410 Level III certification in Radiographic Testing (RT) or Penetrant Testing (PT)

- Hands-on radiographic interpretation experience across Film, CR, and DDA

- Working knowledge of aerospace and defense casting quality standards

- Comfort partnering with QA and Production to schedule inspections and drive issues to resolution

- Adherence to safety, DOT, HAZMAT, and environmental requirements, with flexibility for overtime

- Prior experience auditing outside processing agencies
