Job Description

Support the development, qualification, and implementation of Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) and Nondestructive Testing (NDT) processes for manufacturing and inspection operations. Review inspection results, develop inspection techniques, support equipment qualification, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure product quality, compliance, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret NDT inspection results and data.

  • Develop inspection plans, reference standards, and inspection techniques.

  • Support qualification and certification of NDT inspections and equipment.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams on inspection requirements, feasibility, and method selection.

  • Support root cause investigations and corrective actions related to NDT findings.

  • Evaluate and implement new NDE/NDT technologies and processes.

  • Prepare technical reports, procedures, specifications, and documentation.

  • Support standardization, training, and deployment of inspection methods.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, quality, and safety requirements.

  • Utilize project management practices to meet technical, cost, and schedule objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field.

  • 3+ years of experience in Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) or Nondestructive Testing (NDT).

  • Experience with ultrasonic inspection and inspection data interpretation.

  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • U.S. Person status required to meet export control requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of related experience.

  • ASNT Level II or III certification in UT, RT, MT, PT, or ET.

  • Experience with ultrasonic, radiographic, eddy current, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant inspections.

  • Knowledge of phased array ultrasonics, computed tomography (CT), robotics, 3D modeling, or 3D printing technologies.

  • Experience developing reference standards and inspection procedures.

  • Experience in engineering laboratories or manufacturing environments.

  • Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Education

  •  Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or related technical discipline.

  • Advanced degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
