NCIS IT Project/Program Manager (Quantico, VA)
Join Life Cycle Engineering in support of the NCIS IT support services mission headquartered in Quantico, Virginia. The Information Technology Directorate (ITD) supports the NCIS core mission areas to investigate and defeat criminal, terrorist, and foreign intelligence threats by planning for and providing services through appropriate use of the people, equipment, technology, and infrastructure resources of the United States (U.S.) Navy and Marine Corps.
Position Summary:
As a IT Project/Program Manager, you will be responsible for planning, management and execution of IT projects. Executing information technology projects by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have an active Secret clearance and Top Secret/SCI eligible
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the comprehensive planning and execution of IT projects.
  • Manages budgets, day-to-day tasks, and stakeholder communications.
  • Ensures projects are completed on time and within scope, specifically focusing on Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) and Nautilus programs.

Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
  • 5+ years of IT project management experience.
  • Strong skills in strategic planning, resource management, and risk mitigation. PMP, ITIL, or SCRUM certifications highly desirable.

Physical Demands and Expectations:
  • Travel will be required to support this task (up to 25% travel)
  • Regular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting (up to 30 pounds), and standing; occasional prolonged sitting
  • Ability to speak, read, hear and write, with or without assistance
  • Ability to use phone and computer systems, copier, fax and other office equipment
