Job description

Bridgewater College, a member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference and NCAA Division III, is seeking applications for 2 Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach positions, to begin immediately. These are full-time positions, reporting to the Head Men's Lacrosse Coach.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assisting the head coach in all facets of a Division III men's lacrosse program
  • Recruiting prospective student-athletes who fit the mission and culture of the program and the College
  • Planning, organizing, and administering on-field coaching during practices and games
  • Developing detailed scouting reports, statistics, and video analysis breakdowns
  • Responsible for program fundraising initiatives
  • Assist with program marketing and branding on a multitude of platforms, including social media
  • Providing mentoring and support for the student-athletes, particularly in regard to academics and player development
  • Complying with all NCAA, conference and college policies and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Prior collegiate coaching experience and/or competitive collegiate playing experience required.
  • Basic competency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable by the college's auto insurance carrier

Pay is competitive, and salary is commensurate with experience. This full-time position offers a full benefits package, including paid tuition at the College for eligible dependents.
