Job Title: Coordinator, Quality Control (10 Month)

Job Summary
The coordinator, quality control is responsible for assisting the Lindenwood football program with various administrative duties. This position will also support the assistant coach's duties.
Essential Job Functions and Performance Indicators
The intent of this job description is to provide a representation of the types of duties and level of responsibility that will be required of positions given this title. Student-Athlete Academic Success
  • Promotes and facilitates student-athlete academic success
  • Coordinates weekly check-in meetings with student athletes

Competitive Success of Sport
  • Utilizes performance analysis software to provide extensive video breakdown of games and practices
  • Designs and edits playbooks
  • Scouts opposing teams
  • Provides advice on program operations
  • Assists with planning and executing practice plans

Administration
  • Maintains current knowledge of and adheres to the policies, procedures, bylaws, regulations, and rules of Lindenwood University, Intercollegiate Athletics, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and Conference Office
  • Completes all program administrative responsibilities according to procedures
  • Assists coaching staff with day-to-day program operations
  • Properly cares for, stores, distributes, and maintains a detailed inventory of team equipment, uniforms, and supplies
  • Launders issued gear as needed

Communication, Collaboration, and Q2 Service Excellence
  • Supports the mission of the University and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture of service excellence

  • Establishes effective relationships with the community while positively representing the program, department, and University
  • Creates experiential learning opportunities for student-athletes by actively engaging or participating in campus and/or community outreach projects and events
  • Maintains effective relationships with alumni and works to keep them engaged with the University

Required Qualifications - An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. Additional requirements may be designated by position.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Collegiate playing experience at the NCAA, National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), or National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) level preferred
