Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) | 15 hours per week for 26-27 school year | Part-time | Tukwila, WA | Up to $60/hour

We're excited to be hiring a talented TVI for the 2026-2027 school year at a wonderful school district in the Tukwila, WA area. Job Details:

  • 15 hours per week, specific days/schedule is flexible

What You'll Do:
  • Respond to referrals, attends meetings, conduct functional vision evaluations/learning media assessments and complete related paperwork (eligibility reports/individual education plans)
  • Provide specially designed instruction, related service, and consultation to students, school, staff and parents.
  • Plan for and teach students with vision impairments ages 3 through 22 in the school and community, including
  • Instruct students to read and write braille when applicable

Requirements:
  • Valid Washington Residency Teacher Certificate with Teacher of the Visually Impaired Endorsement is Required
