Title       :  Physical Therapist Assistant  (PTA)
Location :  Fredericksburg VA 22404
Shift       :  8Hrs(Day)
Contract :  13 weeks

Responsibilities:

·                  To apply physical therapy assistant procedures and modalities to patients to assist patients to achieve functional goals under the direction of qualified physical therapists. 

·                  To follow established procedures pertaining to maintenance, adjustment, assembly and disassembly of physical therapy equipment. 

·                  To perform procedures related to patient treatment and documentation in medical records. 

·                  To assist with transfer of patients related to therapeutic exercise and physical therapy procedures, and to be responsible for the safety and care of patients assigned by a physical therapist or medical staff. 

·                  Potential candidates must hold a NC License as a Physical Therapy Assistant in good standing. 

·                  The patient population includes a combination of physical disabilities, ventilator dependent, and those with mental health diagnoses.
