Description
Paint tanks, covers and all component parts of transformers by spraying, pouring, dipping, brushing or rolling, grinding and prep tanks for painting and all component parts. Operate and recognize problems with the equipment/ paint and shut down the equipment. Maintain maintenance checklist on paint equipment. Tear down and repair paint equipment. Operate cranes and fork trucks. Check painted material when complete. Mix correct percentages of paint. Keep work area safe, neat and clean.
Tools and Equipment: Ladders, manlifts, cranes, spray equipment, chipper, grinder, and other paint and cleaning equipment and tools as required.
Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, hands and arms, feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb ladders; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
