WIS offers this exclusive, paid newsroom internship each semester, honoring one of our most notable alumni, NBC TODAY anchor Craig Melvin, who began his journalism career in our Columbia newsroom.

This opportunity places you inside the same award-winning environment that helped launch Craig’s trajectory from WIS intern to NBC network anchor. This internship provides hands-on experience as a valued member of the newsroom team, plus guidance directly from Craig, who will generously share his time and insight.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Be currently enrolled in a college/university (preferred Junior/Senior)
