Position Summary:
The Senior Content Manager serves as a lead creative and production driver across both the Saints and Pelicans, overseeing the development, execution, and delivery of high-impact video content. This role acts as an internal Executive Producer - owning production workflows from concept through final delivery - while ensuring all content meets brand standards, league requirements, and organizational goals.
Working closely with the Director of Content, this position plays a key role in shaping storytelling, managing production logistics, and leading cross-functional collaboration across marketing, partnerships, and league initiatives. The Senior Content Manager is responsible for bringing campaigns to life through compelling, on-brand content while maintaining timelines, budgets, and production quality at a high level.

What You'll Be Doing:
Creative Leadership & Content Oversight
  • Serve as the primary reviewer and approver for creative edits, event recaps, and key content features across both teams
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback to editors and producers to ensure content aligns with brand voice, tone, and storytelling standards
  • Oversee development of long-form, broadcast, and partnership content from concept through execution
  • Ensure all deliverables meet NFL and NBA league guidelines, brand standards, and internal expectations

Production & Project Ownership
  • Lead end-to-end production for key organizational initiatives, including:
    • Marketing campaigns (Saints & Pelicans)
    • NFL and NBA league initiatives
    • Broadcast and long-form storytelling features
    • Hype videos and tentpole moments
    • Uniform reveals and schedule releases
  • Build and present production pitch decks and campaign presentations for senior leadership approval
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, partnerships, and social teams to align content with broader campaign strategies

Executive Production & Operations
  • Act as internal Executive Producer across multiple concurrent projects
  • Manage production logistics including scheduling, shoot planning, and on-site execution
  • Coordinate travel and logistics for shooters, editors, and production crews
  • Oversee talent booking for on-camera shoots and voiceover sessions
  • Manage external vendors and freelance/contract labor, including hiring, onboarding, timesheets, invoicing, and payments

Team Leadership
  • Direct and support Sr. Videographer and Videographer, providing guidance on priorities, workload, and creative development
  • Foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented team environment focused on high-quality output and continuous improvement

What You'll Bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in content production, video production, or related field (sports industry experience strongly preferred)
  • Proven experience managing full-cycle video production, from pre-production through post-production
  • Strong creative judgment with the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, and Photoshop
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
