Job Summary

Summary: The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, inventory control, employee safety, workforce development, and compliance initiatives within a fast-paced environment. This role ensures efficient order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, adherence to warehouse procedures, and a strong culture of safety while leading and developing the warehouse teams. 
 

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations
   Manage daily warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
   Monitor stock levels, inventory movements, product availability, and stockout risks.
   Ensure compliance with established warehouse procedures and operational standards.
   Oversee receiving, storage, and inventory control.
   Partner with procurement and operations teams to maintain inventory availability and service levels.


Safety & Compliance
   Lead all warehouse safety initiatives and promote a culture of employee safety.
   Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and food safety requirements.
   Conduct safety meetings, audits, inspections, and corrective action plans.
   Investigate safety incidents and implement preventive measures.


Leadership & Team Development
   Supervise and develop warehouse leads and attendants across.
   Coach, mentor, and train employees on warehouse procedures, safety practices, and performance expectations.
   Conduct performance reviews and support employee development plans.
   Foster accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the warehouse.

Inventory Management
   Monitor inventory accuracy and cycle count programs.
   Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
   Analyze inventory trends and implement process improvements to reduce stock shortages and excess inventory.


Staffing & Scheduling
   Manage labor planning and staffing requirements to meet operational demands.
   Support scheduling for the warehouse team.
   Provide leadership coverage as needed..

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of warehouse managerial or related experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
