JOB SUMMARY:

As a Stats Producer and Vixi Operator, you will help execute the Utah Jazz video board show at the Delta Center. Your main responsibility will be analyzing and pitching live stats, and operating our interactive fan platform Vixi. This is an entry-level position in a highly competitive and fast-paced team environment that is challenging yet rewarding. We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator and problem solver who brings creativity and excitement to improve the crew and show you are a part of. This role is part-time.


The ideal candidate is a die-hard NBA and Utah Jazz fan with in-depth knowledge of basketball statistics and game trends, with an ability to recognize and analyze trends and stats in the moment. 


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate the Vixi fan interaction platform on game days.
  • Watch and analyze statistics during gameplay and pitch interesting stats.
  • Help identify compelling statistical storylines both in-game and season/league-wide.
  • Maintain constant communication through stressful situations.
  • Learn new technical skills as required.
  • Maintain a positive attitude through challenging and long productions.
  • Maintain a high-quality show through a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Embrace a culture of diversity and inclusion where guests and team members feel welcomed, valued, and heard.
  • Enrich lives by creating winning experiences and timeless memories.
  • Operate with an emphasis on safety for employees, teams, and guests.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends (3-11 P.M.).
  • Available for the majority of Utah Jazz home games.
  • Experience working in control rooms and live production environments is a plus, but not required.


WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Due to the nature of this role's event and gameday work, the employee must live within the greater Salt Lake City area upon the date of hire and throughout duration of employment.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to travel quickly in-arena distances traversing multiple floors/levels.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and stand for 2+ hours.
