Travel CT Technologist - Guilford, CT

Contract Type: 13-week Travel Assignment (with possibility of extension)

Shifts: 3*12

Schedule: Full-time, Day Shifts (Monday-Friday, between 7 AM - 7 PM)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Travel CT Technologist to join our outpatient imaging team in Guilford, CT. The ideal candidate will be skilled in performing both CT and digital X-ray procedures with a strong focus on patient care, image quality, and safety standards.

This position offers exposure to a diverse caseload in a professional, patient-centered environment. The technologist will collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT and diagnostic X-ray examinations in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.

  • Ensure optimal image quality while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.

  • Prepare and position patients accurately for imaging procedures.

  • Maintain precise and detailed clinical documentation.

  • Operate imaging equipment efficiently; monitor image quality and report any equipment issues promptly.

  • Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, staff, and physicians.

  • Contribute to departmental goals through teamwork, flexibility, and professionalism.

Requirements:

  • Active ARRT certification (CT and Radiography).

  • Current Connecticut state CT technologist license.

  • Minimum 1 year of CT experience (travel experience preferred).

  • Solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and imaging protocols.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
