Pediatrician - Waterloo, IA (New Graduates are welcome to Apply!)

Job Type: Full-Time (On-site)
Schedule: M-F (8am - 5pm)
One evening clinic session required
Call coverage: 1 in every 6-7 nights
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Pediatrician to provide high-quality, patient-centered medical care in a clinical setting. The Pediatrician will diagnose and treat illnesses, manage patient care plans, and collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure optimal outcomes for pediatric patients.
This role requires adherence to established medical standards, strong clinical judgment, and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care while maintaining positive relationships with patients, families, and staff.
Qualifications:
Education & Training
Graduate of an accredited medical school
Completion of an accredited pediatric residency program
Licensure & Certifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
Active Iowa medical license (or ability to obtain)
DEA registration
Malpractice insurability
Experience: Pediatric care experience preferred
Work Environment: Clinical setting with exposure to: Bloodborne pathogens, Bodily fluids, Medical equipment and procedures, Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) required
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged sitting and frequent use of hands for documentation
Occasional standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and reaching
Ability to perform repetitive tasks and maintain attention to detail
