Job description

Ghostrock, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking an Engineer III to join our team in Norfolk, VA.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Assigned to US Navy ship's Maintenance Teams as the engineering point of contact to resolve technical issues during planning and execution of ship's maintenance availabilities.
  • Perform technical services, monitoring and reporting during Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) availabilities planning and execution.
  • Perform technical services, monitoring and reporting during Continuous Maintenance Availabilities (CMAV).
  • Perform technical services, monitoring and reporting in support of deployment, assessment, and Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV) events.
  • Perform engineering/data analysis in support of modernization, assessment, maintenance or repair of surface ship equipment.
  • In accordance with the JFMM, monitor technical authority compliance during planning and execution of surface ship maintenance, assessment, repair, and modernization work.
  • Using computer-based tools, provide technical and status reports that are factually accurate and complete, reflect high quality, adhere to due dates and deadlines, be innovative and use techniques to increase efficiencies and control cost.
  • Required to have 24/7 contact in the performance of this task order between government personnel and contractor representatives.

Position Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain an Active Secret Clearance
  • Require engineering degree from an accredited college or university. Graduates of Maritime Universities are highly desirable.
  • GPA of 2.5
  • Must show skill in Microsoft Office Suite.
