Objective:
The Financial Administration and Program Analyst is responsible for conducting accounting and budget analysis for both Career Training Continuum (CTC) and the Naval Education and Training Command (NETC). Qualified candidates should be local to Pensacola, FL or surrounding areas and be familiar with U.S. Navy financial processes and procedures and to be considered for this position.
Job Description:
โ€ข Perform accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis functions in support of programs or projects.
โ€ข Assist in the formulation, justification, and execution of budgets.
โ€ข Support cost estimating, financial forecasting, and reporting activities.
โ€ข Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with policies and regulations.
โ€ข Apply knowledge of financial management principles, methods, and techniques.
โ€ข Prepare financial reports, documentation, and supporting materials.
โ€ข Conduct more complex financial analyses and budget reviews.
โ€ข Provide recommendations to support financial planning and decision-making.
โ€ข Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
โ€ข Support audits, reviews, and financial evaluations.
โ€ข Lead financial analysis efforts for programs or projects.
โ€ข Provide guidance on budgeting, cost estimating, and financial management strategies.

Employment Status:
Full-time (40 hours per week), Salaried. Exempt.
Qualifications:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree from accredited institution with at least 30 credited hours in related financial management.
โ€ข General experience: Five (5) years of financial management experience (cost, accounting, budgeting, planning, and forecasting.).
โ€ข Active/Current, minimum "Secret" Security Clearance.
โ€ข Efficient with cost analysis, scheduling, budget planning and documentation.
โ€ข Familiar with automated cost reporting and scheduling systems.
โ€ข At least 5 years of cumulative progressively responsible experience in any combination of the following disciplines as related to DOD programs:
o Development of Financial Controls
o Interpretation and application of Fiscal laws, regulations, and rulings
o Examination of financial transactions
o Administration of programs and systems for controls of appropriated and non-appropriated funds
Work Environment and Travel
โ€ข This position is on site at the Center for Naval Education and Training Command (NETC) in Pensacola, FL. Qualified candidates should be local to Naval Air Station Pensacola, FL, to be considered for this position.
โ€ข Ability to lift items and/or equipment up to 50 lbs. on limited occasions.
โ€ข Travel up to 10% anticipated.
