LPN - RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to)
  • The LPN initiates, performs, and completes assigned duties to provide care to a diverse patient population.
  • Assess patient conditions and use professional judgment to determine the appropriate order and sequence of procedures and treatments.
  • Observe, identify, and respond to patient care needs, including medication administration, equipment-assisted care, and patient/family education.
  • The LPN administers prescribed medications (oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and/or intravenous) and perform treatments as per established policies/procedures.
  • Recognize urgent or emergent patient care situations and collaborate with the RN and/or MD/DO to initiate appropriate emergency interventions as directed.
  • Assist in preparing patients for complex diagnostic tests, specialized practices, or procedures.
  • The LPN prepares and handles specialized instruments or equipment.

LPN - REQUIREMENTS
  • Education: Certificate, Degree, or completion of vocational nursing program or graduate from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
  • Certification: Current BLS certification from American Heart Association.
  • License: Active LPN license from any state.
