Job description

The Appleton Area School District has a position available for a 1.0 FTE Grade 5/6 Teacher at Fox River Academy beginning on 08/24/26.

Fox River Academy offers a uniquely rewarding environment. With a strong focus on the Fox River watershed, core subjects are taught through an integrated, hands-on curriculum in multi-age classrooms. This approach allows teachers to collaborate across grade levels, build deeper relationships with students, and design meaningful learning experiences that connect disciplines in authentic ways. Here, learning doesn't stay indoors. Weekly field experiences bring students into nature, turning the outdoors into an extension of the classroom.
