They work in various settings, including government agencies, environmental consulting firms, and non-profit organizations, to ensure that natural resources are used sustainably and responsibly. Their roles may involve conducting research, developing management plans, monitoring ecosystems, and advising on environmental policy. These professionals play a crucial role in balancing human needs with the protection and preservation of the environment.
