Pop is looking to hire a speech therapist to join our multidisciplinary team!

We provide a collaborative, supportive, and engaging environment where our therapists receive weekly group and individual supervision. Our therapists are trained to use the POWER OF PLAY in their treatment with children.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess patients' areas for growth and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Support the patient's speech and language development using total communication strategies including AAC
  • Demonstrate understanding and use of Gestalt Language Processing framework
  • Educate patients and their families to ensure carryover of treatment ideas within the natural environment
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Skills:

  • Experience working with pediatric patients and within the Early Intervention system is preferred.
  • Strong time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
