Job description

Jefferson Radiology is seeking a Thoracic Radiologist to join their growing practice in Connecticut. This full-time position offers a hybrid-subspecialty model, allowing for personalized specialization alongside general body imaging. The role provides uncapped earning potential, a pathway to partnership, and a supportive, physician-led culture with a focus on work-life balance.

Practice Info

  • Hybrid-subspecialty model allowing radiologists to self-select a personalized level of sub-specialization with a hybrid general-Body position
  • Physician-led culture with national support infrastructure
  • Flexible scheduling and remote reading opportunities
  • Opportunities for teaching and working with residents, including an on-site Radiology residency program at Hartford Hospital, and teaching for the University of Connecticut and St. Vincent's Hospital
  • Opportunity to perform a wide range of exams from community hospitals to high-end tertiary care centers
  • 90+ physician sub-specialty group practice with 400+ non-physician staff members based in Connecticut covering multiple imaging centers, community hospitals and tertiary-academic centers

Responsibilities

  • Interpret Cardiac CT studies from hospital and outpatient settings
  • Interpret body imaging across all modalities (preferred)
  • Interact with clinical colleagues
  • Attend/present at multidisciplinary conferences and tumor boards to earn CME

Compensation

  • Salary Range with a base of $625,000 for on-site and $600,000 for remote with productivity incentives upwards to $1,000,000 annually
  • Commencement and/or Retention bonuses up to $100,000 collectively
  • Significant compensation increase, including the introduction of Time-Based Work Units (TBWU)
  • Uncapped earning potential

Requirements

  • Radiologist who is Thoracic or Cardiovascular trained or completed a Thoracic or Cardiovascular fellowship
  • Comfortable interpreting CT cardiac cases
  • MD or DO
  • BE or BC, ABR or AOBR
  • Residency Trained, ACGME Accredited Radiology Program
  • Practice will assist in obtaining required medical licenses
  • Fellows welcome to apply
