Job Description Summary
Dauch is searching for a Quality Manager to join our team. This position will be based out of our Ridgway, PA location.
This Quality Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Quality Management System, driving lean initiatives, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.
In this role, the Quality Manager will partner closely with leadership, operations, engineering, suppliers, and customers to improve product quality, drive operational excellence, and support ongoing business growth.
Job Description:
  • Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and quality assurance principles.
  • Experience with auditing, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support related to metallurgy, material specifications, heat treatment processes, and product quality
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and problem-solving techniques.
  • Initiates customer contact for on-going feedback and takes proactive role in responding to customer concerns as they relate to product quality.
  • Performs, directs, and/or participates in training related to quality knowledge and awareness.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Ability to influence and obtain results through cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions with limited direction.
  • Effective conflict resolution and change management skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with associates, customers, suppliers, and senior leadership.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 5+ year's experience in Quality in a manufacturing environment (automotive or metal manufacturing highly desired).
  • 2+ year's progressive leadership experience.
  • Experienced in auditing (IATF, ISO, etc) and customer relationship management.
