Responsibilities
What You'll Get To Do:
- Serve as the Contractor’s primary point of contact and authorized interface with the Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), ensuring effective communication and responsiveness.
- Provide strategic leadership, direction, and oversight for all project management activities and contract performance.
- Develop, implement, and enforce policies, work standards, and operational procedures to support efficient and compliant execution of contract requirements.
- Plan, assign, and manage work schedules while overseeing daily operations to ensure timely and successful contract performance.
- Supervise personnel, ensuring appropriate staffing levels, workforce performance, accountability, and professional development.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve performance issues or discrepancies, implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop, refine, and maintain compliant processes and procedures aligned with DOE and federal requirements.
- Prepare, review, and submit all required reports, deliverables, and documentation in accordance with contract terms and established timelines.
- Communicate organizational policies, priorities, and objectives to personnel to ensure alignment with contract and DOE mission goals.
- Establish, implement, and manage quality assurance and quality control programs to ensure achievement of all performance and service delivery standards.
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable DOE directives, federal regulations, and contract-specific requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of contract objectives and mission success.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in protective force operations, preferably within the Department of Energy (DOE), National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), or a comparable federal or high-security environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing and supervising personnel in the execution of security or protective force contracts, with accountability for operational performance and compliance.
- Proven ability to effectively lead teams, manage staffing levels, develop work schedules, and monitor performance within regulated, high-security, or mission-critical environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to personnel, stakeholders, and Government representatives.
- Possession of a valid state driver’s license with the ability to operate government or contractor vehicles as required.
- Active DOE Q clearance.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and hold personnel accountable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear, concise reports and brief leadership effectively.
- Working knowledge of DOE directives, federal regulations, and security operations best practices.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Ability to operate effectively in high-security, fast-paced, and mission-focused environments.
