Job description

SSU is currently recruiting for a Senior Business Development Associate โ€“ Modular Structures to join our team and work in our Tampa, FL office. This individual must be an energetic self-starter, resourceful, and able to develop a well-defined time management process to accomplish given tasks. Duties and Responsibilities
  • All work and tasks are in support of SSUโ€™s Modular Structure program
  • Conduct market research that will assist management with capture decisions
  • Manage and direct the preparation of proposals and quotes for clients
  • Assist with the corporate opportunity pipeline administration and management via SSUโ€™s capture management tool
  • Assist with the preparation of marketing material related to our Modular Structures program
  • Assist with planning/coordination of trades shows/expos and possible participation
  • Assist with contract administration
  • Develop an understanding of SSUโ€™s business and culture.
  • Serve as direct supervisor of Business Development Associate(s).
  • Qualifications:Required:
  • Masterโ€™s degree in relevant field of study to position and SSUโ€™s business lines OR Student in good standing progressing towards a Masterโ€™s degree
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business/marketing, engineering, or finance OR relevant field of study to position or SSUโ€™s business lines
  • Four (4) to Eight (8) years of experience in business development
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Able to work independently but within strategic framework
  • Good business acumen
  • Willing to learn and ask questions
  • Demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects/assignments at the same time
  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to be flexible with daytoday tasks
