Cath Lab Technician

Job Title: Cath Lab Technician

Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10

Experience: - Minimum of 18 months of experience in specialty, 2 years preferred - Must have experience in two of four modalities: Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro

License: - National Certification or Registration as Cardiovascular Tech preferred

Certifications: - AHA ACLS - BLS - RCIS preferred, in addition to required certifications

Must-Have: - Cardiac Cath experience - Interventional Radiology experience

Description: We are seeking a dedicated team player with experience in Cath Lab. Candidates must have a background in Cardiac Cath and additional experience in either Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro. It is essential that candidates demonstrate experience in two of the four modalities. The facility requires professionals who prioritize time-sensitive modules once confirmed for an assignment. Please ensure that all time-off requests are communicated upfront, as changes may not be approved later. The facility maintains a smoke-free environment, and all individuals must be nicotine-free to be considered for the role. Candidates should be prepared to float among various departments as needed. This role may require participation in on-call duties on a case-by-case basis, discussed with the manager. Trained professionals should be comfortable with various Cath Lab skills, including equipment setup and maintenance of sterile fields. Team members will be involved in numerous procedures, such as cardiac stent placement and catheterizations. Overall, we are looking for qualified individuals who can support the team's needs effectively.
