As a Project coordinator, you will be responsible for:
Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
A project coordinator is accountable to assist the project team to enable successful outcomes on complex integrated test, measurement, or automation systems for delivery to our customers. They spend most of their time executing and monitoring to a project plan, with strong emphasis on logistics and coordination. They are deeply involved in all procurement, build, test and logistics aspects of the projects, ensuring their accountability for the business and successful on time delivery of the solution. The project coordinate plays a dynamic role within projects adapting to different responsibilities to support the coordination and logistics for project delivery
Organization
The Project coordinator will be a part of a highly experienced, growing team and support the build, testing, and delivery of custom integrated test systems for some of NI's largest customers. They are instrumental in coordinating system delivery across multiple phase and teams, experience communicating with various stakeholders and clients from sole contributor to Executive across multiple disciplines - Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, Safety Compliance will be valued. Their ability to quickly build credibility and trust for effective collaboration towards mutual outcomes will drive success.
Core Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinates the tester builds with the Manufacturing.
  • Identifies and communicates any roadblocks during tester build and coordinates to bring resolution to deliver solutions to clients on time.
  • Strong ability to track inventory, project schedules, and logistics.
  • Quickly procures parts for the team when needed.
  • Identifies and solves part procurement needs and issues. Tracks part availability and maintain communication with procurement teams to ensure there are no availability problems.
  • Assists the Project Manager in achieving the project deadlines and milestones.
  • Responsible for project logistics and ensuring prototype and manufacturing jobs are run correctly and on time. Do this by coordinating with PCB services, manufacturing, engineering, and services groups, and by tracking and following up with these teams to ensure deliverables are provided on time..
  • Follows up and thoroughly tracks results of all assigned tasks.
  • Effectively communicates with vendors, stakeholders, and technical teams.
  • Maintains project documentation and data, audits project data, and provides report out for adherence.

Experience
  • The following skills and experience are required:
  • A minimum of 5 years of project coordinator experience
  • Well versed in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
  • Desire to learn and ability to pick up quickly on new technologies, tools and tasks
  • Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and being proactive
  • Support project team to pivot and respond quickly to changing customer requirements
  • Communicate risks and task status to stakeholders effectively and regularly

In addition, desired skills and experience may include:
  • Experience in manufacturing or hardware-based roles
  • Experience with Bill of Materials (BOM) management Experience supporting engineering groups in corporate environment
  • Experience using Agile and Oracle
  • Aerospace industry test experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience managing defense contracts is highly desirable.
  • Previous exposure to National Instruments hardware and software
  • Strong understanding of business concepts such as pricing, costs, margins, terms and conditions preferred

This is an onsite position; must be able to report 5 days onsite.
