Job Description

The ETF Product Strategy Group within the Americas Product is committed to providing superior client support and actionable investment insights that drive our product line's strategic agenda for growth. This individual will work closely with others on the team and help develop ETF research and analysis that positions our fixed income and alternatives ETFs in the current macro environment. The Sr. Analyst will work cross-functionally with Product Development, Portfolio Management, Capital Markets, Sales and Marketing to position and grow the product line.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Work alongside analysts and strategists on the team to develop product segment research and analysis on Invesco ETFs, the ETF industry, and broader financial markets, serving as a subject matter expert for the product line

  • Develop and update product materials that position Invesco's ETFs

  • Project manage and lead research projects as assigned by senior leaders

  • Execute on actions needed to maintain and improve the product line

  • Partner closely with ETF strategists and specialists to support our clients and ensure product integrity, occasionally participating in client meetings

Requirements of the Role:

  • 3-5 years of investment management and/or research experience preferred

  • Skills and professional development in a senior analyst role with a desire to take on more responsibility and accountability

  • Previous experience or solid understanding of fixed-income and alternatives investing strongly preferred

  • ETF and index familiarity and industry experience required

  • Experience with Bloomberg, Morningstar Direct, FactSet, Python a plus

  • Strong research and analytical skills to analyze and interpret various market research reports and data and apply such information to daily activities

  • Strong subject matter acumen and written communication skills

  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills; maintain effective, cooperative working relationships with all departments and organizational levels

  • Self-directed; must be comfortable with establishing objectives, then working independently to achieve them, seeking the team's input as needed

  • Undergraduate degree in business, finance, mathematics or related discipline required

  • Series 7 & 63 (already licensed is a plus, can study for these exams after being hired)

  • CFA track or progress towards advanced strongly preferred

The total compensation offered for this position, which includes salary and incentive pay, will vary based on skills, experience and location. The salary range for this position in New York City is $170,000 to $185,000 annually.
