As a Security Guard Driver Entry Authorization in Provo, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide professional customer service and communication. You will help maintain an orderly environment, report security-related concerns, and support site operations through teamwork and integrity. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate check-in locations.
  • Control entry and exit of vehicles, personnel, and deliveries in accordance with facility procedures; report unauthorized access attempts or irregular conditions to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
