This position is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with end users and monitoring and increasing sales volume, with a focus on premium Webb products.Essential FunctionsDevelop and maintain relationships with key contacts for North American class 6-8 commercial on & off highway fleets to drive the fleet-pull of premium Webb products through Webb Customers/Distributors, obtain a clear understanding of the fleet’s size, geographic location(s), buying practices and annual service parts demandDevelop and maintain a target list of fleet accounts and action plans to increase Webb’s market share by focusing on fleet pull-through purchasingCoordinate and execute fleet test programs of new products as required; work with Webb’s Engineering and R&D groups to generate reports summarizing any test resultsSupport IAM, Retail, OES, and OEM personnel as needed in national or regional trade/training showsParticipate in fleet-related industry associations such as TMC & IANAProvide quantifiable feedback to Webb’s management validating fleet purchasing activity of Webb’s product linePosition QualificationsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsProven success managing large customer relationships and growing revenueStrong communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsExtensive knowledge of the commercial highway vehicle marketSignificant sales experience, preferably in the North American commercial fleet market with existing contactsAbility to analyze data, identify opportunities, and execute strategic account plansSelf-motivated and results drivenAdaptability in a fast-paced environmentExperience5+ years of National Account Management experience5-10+ years of B2B sales or account management experienceBackground in heavy-duty trucking, commercial vehicle, or aftermarket industryWorking ConditionsThe work environment described here is representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job.
