We are hiring landscaping technicians to perform trimming, weed‑eating, edging, mowing, and general grounds upkeep at Jacksonville National Cemetery. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical outdoor work and takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and well‑kept grounds for cemetery visitors.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate mowers, weed‑eaters, edgers, blowers, chain saws, pole saws, and other landscaping tools
  • Trim grass, weeds, and low branches in areas mowers cannot reach
  • Maintain clean edges along sidewalks, driveways, and flower beds
  • Remove debris, trash, leaves, and fallen limbs
  • Blow sidewalks and roadways to maintain a neat appearance
  • Follow OSHA and company safety procedures
  • Report equipment issues or safety concerns promptly
  • Work outdoors in ALL weather conditions including rain, extreme heat, cold, snow, wind, etc.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of landscape and grounds maintenance experience 
    (Personal lawn care does not qualify)
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding outdoor work
  • Capable of frequent kneeling, bending, walking, and standing for long periods during outdoor work
  • Reliable, self‑motivated, and professional 
  • Willing to be a dependable, positive team member on a strong, established crew
  • Valid driver’s license or Real ID or passport and dependable transportation
  • Authorized to work in the United States
