Looking... But Not Really Looking?

Perhaps you're successful where you are.
You have a strong reputation, meaningful client relationships, and a proven track record of success. You're not actively searching for a new opportunity, but you've occasionally wondered: "What's out there?"

If that sounds familiar, we should talk.
North American Recovery is seeking an accomplished business development professional to help accelerate our national growth and expand our presence throughout the United States.
This is not an entry-level sales position.
This is not a transactional sales role.
And this is not a position for someone who waits for leads to come to them.
We're looking for a polished, consultative professional who can engage senior decision-makers, uncover opportunities, build long-term relationships, and help organizations solve complex accounts receivable and revenue recovery challenges.
About North American Recovery

North American Recovery is a nationally licensed accounts receivable management company headquartered in West Valley City, Utah. For more than three decades, we have partnered with businesses across the nation to improve cash flow, recover revenue, enhance compliance, and strengthen operational performance through customized recovery solutions. We emphasize professionalism, compliance, client service, data security, and long-term partnerships.
We don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach.
We take the time to understand each client's business, evaluate their existing recovery processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop customized solutions designed to deliver measurable results.
Simply put: We don't sell collection services. We solve business problems.
The Opportunity

As our National Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business relationships throughout the United States.
This role requires an individual who is comfortable engaging owners, executives, financial leaders, legal professionals, operations teams, and other senior decision-makers.
You will help prospective clients analyze their current accounts receivable recovery strategy, evaluate alternatives, and determine whether North American Recovery can deliver a superior solution.
The successful candidate may live anywhere within the United States. Relocation is not required.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand business relationships nationwide.
  • Generate new opportunities through networking, referrals, strategic prospecting, industry events, and cold calling.
  • Conduct high-level consultative sales meetings and presentations.
  • Utilize our proprietary Collection Process Analysis methodology to help prospective clients evaluate their current solutions.
  • Present customized strategies and solutions that improve recovery performance, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Represent North American Recovery at conferences, trade shows, association meetings, and industry events.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and consistently achieve established growth objectives.
  • Collaborate directly with executive leadership on growth initiatives and market expansion opportunities.

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is already successful and understands what it takes to win business in a competitive environment.
You are:
  • Highly motivated and self-directed.
  • Entrepreneurial in your thinking.
  • Comfortable initiating conversations with prospective clients.
  • Skilled in consultative and solution-based selling.
  • Professional, polished, and confident interacting with executive-level decision makers.
  • Able to communicate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Driven by achievement, growth, and income opportunity.

Required Qualifications

Must Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Communications, or a related field.
  • Significant experience within the Accounts Receivable Management industry, collections industry, debt buying industry, credit industry, financial services industry, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated success in business-to-business sales.
  • Experience selling complex services or solutions.
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel nationally as required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred

  • Existing industry relationships and contacts.
  • Experience working with healthcare, financial services, government, utility, higher education, property management, or commercial organizations.
  • Participation in ACA International or other professional industry associations.

Compensation

We are seeking a top performer and have structured a compensation package designed to attract one.
Base Salary: $175,000 per year

Commission Plan: Uncapped commission structure

Expected Earnings Successful representatives should expect total annual earnings exceeding $300,000 annually.

Exceptional performers may significantly exceed this amount.
Executive Leadership Growth Opportunity

North American Recovery believes in promoting from within whenever possible.
The individual selected for this role will work directly with CEO David J. Saxton and will play an important role in helping shape the company's long-term growth strategy.
This position is intentionally designed for advancement.
For the right individual, demonstrated success may create future opportunities to advance into executive leadership roles, including:
  • Vice President of Business Development
  • President of Business Development
We are not looking for someone who simply wants a job.
We are looking for someone who wants to help build the future of a growing organization.
Benefits
  • Generous 401(k) Program
  • Medical Insurance (Employee Coverage Paid by Company)
  • Dental Insurance
  • Vision Insurance
  • Life Insurance
  • Paid Time Off Beginning Day One
