Job Title: Engineer Testing

Location: Irving, TX (onsite)

Job Description
• Proficiency in Cypress automation framework (JavaScript) 5
• Knowledge of SDLC and QA methodologies, quality processes, and defect tracking systems
• Strong hands-on experience with the Cypress test automation framework
• Proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript for writing test scripts
• Solid understanding of DOM manipulation and element selectors
• Experience with API testing using cy.request() and validating responses
• Ability to create and use custom Cypress commands for reusable logic
• Familiarity with CI/CD integration (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for automated test runs
• Knowledge of reporting tools like Cypress Dashboard, screenshots, and video capture
• Awareness of cross-browser testing limitations and workarounds in Cypress
• Experience managing test data using fixtures and environment variables
• Proficient in Git for version control and collaborative development
Roles & Responsibilities
•  Works collaboratively across product lines and department boundaries to enable functional testing and work closely with the engineering team to help build out the tooling and automation.
• Deeply understands test methodologies - such as agile;  functional, integration and  regression testing
• Manage and run the QA cycle as part of the agile development cycle and work towards taking the sprints to closure.
• Working closely with the product management team helping with the UAT cycles and regression test application as necessary.
• Build reliable automated test suites that run as part of the project CI and/or nightly build system.
• Have a basic understanding of automation testing and performance testing.
• Is disciplined, with an eye for detail, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Triage efficiently, prioritizing issues by the highest impact and scope. You know how to get the right bugs fixed
• Is comfortable in a collaborative, agile, and distributed development environment.
• In addition to the above responsibilities, senior position responsibilities also include:
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes
• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. 
• Takes ownership of tasks assigned and reports to senior management appropriately at regular agreed intervals.
