Note: An active Tennessee Bar license in good standing and personal injury litigation experience are required. We are ideally seeking attorneys with 5+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury experience, although strong candidates with 4+ years may be considered.

Job Description

  • Represent plaintiffs in personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and other injury claims.
  • Manage cases from intake and investigation through settlement, mediation, litigation, and trial.
  • Develop effective case strategies through legal research, evidence analysis, medical record review, and witness interviews.
  • Communicate directly with clients, medical providers, experts, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and other parties.
  • Negotiate settlements and pursue favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Handle depositions, hearings, mediations, court appearances, and trials as appropriate.
  • Independently manage a substantial caseload while maintaining strong organization and attention to deadlines.
  • Work closely with legal support staff to keep cases moving efficiently and provide an excellent client experience.
  • Contribute to firm growth by identifying and bringing new personal injury matters into the practice.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active Tennessee Bar license and good standing.
  • 4+ years of personal injury litigation experience, preferably on the plaintiff side.
  • Strong litigation, negotiation, legal research, and case-management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage personal injury matters and advocate effectively for clients.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong client-service mindset and sound legal judgment.
  • Settlement, deposition, mediation, and trial experience strongly preferred.
  • In-house and solo practice backgrounds are welcome.
