We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer to join the team!

The Systems Engineer will:

  • Perform systems engineering and integration (SE&I) assessments of PLSS and related subsystem documentation, analyses, and requirements.
  • Review ICDs, (other e.g. ConOps, IRDs, DRDs, IDDs, GR&As, V&V evidence) modeling outputs, and system specifications for completeness and technical adequacy.
  • Assess partner-provided designs for compatibility with crew interfaces and vehicle or habitat systems
  • Coordinate with NASA program personnel, suit vendor teams, and vehicle contractors to clarify requirements, communicate findings, and support integrated system development.
  • Support resolution of complex system level issues through analysis, trade studies, and technical review.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requisition Qualifications

  • Typically requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering and normally possess 5- 10 years of related experience. License and certification may be required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in human spaceflight, life support systems, or complex aerospace systems engineering.
  • Strong background in systems engineering, including requirements development, verification/validation, and interface control.
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing technical documentation (specifications, analyses, requirements, V&V artifacts) and providing meaningful, actionable feedback.
  • Proven ability to understand and evaluate complex systems relevant to Artemis-class missions.
  • Excellent communication skills, including presenting technical findings to NASA programs and partner organizations.

Requisition Preferences:

  • Experience with PLSS design, integration, testing, or systems engineering.
  • Experience working independently to identify issues, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with NASA, vendor, and vehicle partner teams.
  • Experience with human spaceflight development programs (e.g., ISS, Gateway, Artemis).
