About Us:

Position Overview:
We are seeking a caring and dependable PM Floater to support our classrooms during the afternoon hours. The PM Floater helps with transitions, assists teachers, and ensures children have a calm and joyful end to their day. Flexibility is key, as you'll move between classrooms to meet the needs of the center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers during afternoon activities, snack, and outdoor play

  • Assist with nap time routines (where applicable) and end-of-day transitions

  • Supervise children and engage them in age-appropriate play

  • Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment

  • Fill in for staff breaks or absences as needed

  • Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and team members

  • Ensure all children are signed out and leave safely with authorized adults

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Previous experience in a childcare or preschool setting is preferred

  • Friendly, reliable, and flexible with a team-focused mindset

  • Must meet all state licensing requirements, including background checks, fingerprinting, and health screenings

  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
