Job description

Summit Hills is now accepting applications for a Licensed Manicurist to provide professional nail services to our members.
We are seeking an independent contractor with valid & current board-certified license to work at our Retirement Community providing exceptional customer service.

What you'll do:
  • Schedule appointments according to member needs.
  • Provide quality service to meet individual member needs through listening and providing suggestions/guidance in accordance with professional standards.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with members, family members, staff and management.
  • Generate billing sheets and reports to provide the management team.
  • Maintain a safe environment for members and staff.
  • Ensure personal work area and salon meet and exceed State Board Regulations.
  • Respond professionally to customer service issues and promptly addressing complaints.
  • Communicate with Management regarding issues and needs.
  • Adheres to the Bill of Rights policy for residents.
  • Adheres to policies and procedures regarding environmental/infection precautions related to the Spa & Salon.
  • Adheres to policies and procedures regarding Resident Abuse, Neglect or Misappropriation of Resident Property.

Requirements:
  • Provide manicure and pedicure services to residents.
  • Maintain sanitation guidelines and salon duties.
  • Work with residents and their families to achieve desired look.
  • Valid State Cosmetology/Nail Technician License required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred.
  • Good communication skills and compassion essential.
