Overview

As a TAG IT Manager, you will act as customer service representative for command personnel on both the Non-classified Internet Protocol Router and Secret Internet Protocol Router networks. *This position is contingent upon contract award


Security Requirement:

  • A SECRET security clearance is required.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain updated Outlook distribution lists on both networks.
  • Maintain updated security group lists on both networks.
  • Provide assistance in submitting Consolidated Service Desk (CSD) requests for command.
  • Reviews and process network account requests for command personnel.
  • Provide assistance and recommendations to command’s SharePoint portals
  • Assists in establishing command N6/IT helpdesk.
  • Support to include collateral duty programs associated with Command N6.
  • Assists in maintaining continuity for commands N6 Department once established.
  • Assists and performs as N6/IT SME for command projects and IT related inquiries.
  • Perform as the command’s lead N6/IT liaison to outside entities.
  • Assists in the creation and management of Power Apps and Power BI.
  • Assists and troubleshoots command VTC equipment.
  • Assists in routine quantitative and qualitative methods to collect data, identify problems, and improve command support effectiveness and initiatives.
  • Assists in performing routine quantitative and qualitative methods to leverage data as a strategic asset to support performance and decision making, improve transparency, spur innovation and learning, and promote accountability.
  • Conducts basic research and data analysis. assignments consisting of data analytical problems of a procedural or factual nature.
  • Develops routine narrative reports and/or fact sheets on technical, process, policy or organizational problems based on command system data.

Requirements:

  • Possess a valid state driver’s license.
  • Must be able to operate a Personal Computer (PC) with common/standard business software programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint (minimum 3 years’ experience in Microsoft Office programs).
  • Current Security+ Certification.
  • Current TS/SCI eligibility or be able to obtain and hold TS/SCI eligibility upon hiring.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with others, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to enter data into multiple databases accurately.
  • Preferred prior experience in NSW/SOCOM network structure and function.
  • Must complete, maintain training and certification requirements for network access.
  • Preferred working Knowledge of SharePoint 2013 or 2016.
  • Experience applying analytical, evaluative methods and techniques to issues and studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of a command and its support activities.
  • Experience relating data analysis methodology and using presentation software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) to effectively communicate results in routine or unusual reports.
  • Experience transforming raw data into finished products via importing a variety of information systems and data files, including large and complex files.
  • Must meet the requirements to obtain and check out government vehicles / CESE for use in their official duties.
