Role: Application Systems Python Developer

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Raleigh, NC

Work Mode: Hybrid

Interview Mode: Either Webcam Interview or In-Person

Seeking a skilled Application Systems Python Developer to design, develop, and support data pipelines, dashboards, integrations, and migration processes across enterprise systems within the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. This role plays a key part in moving data between legacy and modern platforms, ensuring data quality, and enabling analytics and automation through Python and Power BI.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Python
  • Proficiency with Power BI
  • Experience developing/maintaining applications Zope application server
  • Experience developing/maintaining Plone CMS applications
  • Experience designing and executing data migration or data conversion projects
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, Ingres)
  • Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance requirements
  • Strong troubleshooting ability and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform)
  • Experience with Java development
  • Experience with version control (Git/Subversion) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of Power BI administration, workspaces, gateways, and deployment strategies
  • Experience with large-scale migration or modernization initiatives
