MVPD content providers offer a variety of TV channels, live programming, on-demand content, and sometimes additional features like cloud DVR. To thrive as an MVPD (Multichannel Video Programming Distributor) Content Specialist, you generally need expertise in content acquisition, media distribution, and a strong understanding of broadcast or streaming platforms, often supported by a degree in media, communications, or a related field. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), digital rights management (DRM) tools, and analytics platforms is typically required.
