Job description

The Marketplace Representative assists customers across our multiple partner marketplace platforms with the execution, facilitation, and follow up care of their orders.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities:

Major responsibilities of the position are listed below. To perform the job successfully, the individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily and be committed to Mission "Provide world class customer experience, attract and retain the best people and achieve superior results." Other duties, assignments and specific projects may be assigned at the discretion of management.

  • Communicate to marketplace customers by messaging platform, email, and phone concerning orders, returns, shipments, and products."
  • Interpret, translate, explain, and provide applicable, accurate, and appropriate information with respect to products, services, policy, procedure, account status, marketing promotions and campaigns, and explaining billing and shipping details. Summarize every interaction to prevent repeat contacts or cancellations. Adhere to quality standards, meeting sales and performance goals set by management.
  • Promote, recommend, and sell Musical products and services utilizing consultative selling techniques to maximize customer satisfaction and results for new and existing orders.
  • Practice continuous quality control in the processing of all customer orders to prevent any problems during order fulfillment. Meet/exceed all performance expectations including products sales, add-on sales, call handling metrics, and quality standards.
  • Stay informed of current policies/procedures, competitive offers, and products in order to position company products/services in a confident manner.
  • Manage product listings across multiple marketplace websites-
  • Articulate the advantages of our company over the competition.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • One to three years of customer service or sales experience required.
  • Ability to operate a computer and type 30 WPM.
  • Demonstrated ability to Think Customer First, plan and work independently.
  • Proven ability to handle customer concerns and escalated issues in a professional manner.
  • Ability to ask probing questions and correctly identify customer needs.
  • Self-motivated, upbeat, and with a high energy level.
  • Strong customer focus, team player and strong work ethics.
