Family Liaison for Kids 4 Harmony

(Flexible hours - up to 18 hours/week)

18 Degrees is where new beginnings come to light for children and families and could be where your new career does the same! At 18 Degrees, we cultivate teams and leaders to embrace the principles of diversity, equity and inclusiveness to support the needs of our community. Do you have experience working with children and families? We are looking for a Family Liaison that can help students grade 3 12 learn social emotional skills and support them to work in a music ensemble.

The Family Liaison will:

  • Coordinate aspects of the social emotional learning curriculum materials devised from best practices such as motivational interviewing, growth mindset, and mindfulness. Conduct small skill building group with students and support the program overall to integrate classroom management techniques and social emotional skill building, and coordinate efforts with both the Pittsfield and North Adams program.
  • Connect families to resources, support child development, prepares students to be resilient and skilled musicians as well as future graduates.
  • Attend community meetings as directed, build relationships with community partners.
  • Support with written materials like the newsletter, Some grant reporting and data management as well.
Qualification Requirements: Education: Bachelors degree or 3-5 years experience
