Job Description
The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing music tutoring services to the students and youth of the STOF Tribal Community. The individual teaches music to students individually or in scheduled group study sessions. The incumbent creates and implements music tutorial programs that guide and assist students with music program homework. High School Diploma or equivalent GED is required. Completion of one to two years of college courses, is required. A minimum of one (1) year of experience teaching music is required. An equivalent combination of education/training and experience will be consider. Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License is required as travel between Tribal Communities will be required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft software programs. Ability to travel across reservations and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
