Full-Stack Software Developer / Systems Integration Engineer
Remote | 6-9 Month Contract | High-Impact Integration & Modernization Project
A growing technology-driven distribution and supply chain organization is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Software Developer / Systems Integration Engineer to support a major platform modernization initiative. This contract opportunity is ideal for a senior-level engineer who thrives in autonomous environments and enjoys solving complex backend integration and systems architecture challenges.
This role will focus heavily on backend development, API integrations, ERP connectivity, security enhancements, and platform reliability improvements across a proprietary B2B transaction platform handling high-volume order and data exchange workflows.
? Key Areas of Focus:
• Security hardening & authentication modernization
• API standardization & integration improvements
• Platform modernization & architectural refactoring
• Process monitoring, observability & containerization
• ERP integrations & transaction workflow optimization
• Dashboard and internal tooling enhancements
? Ideal Background Includes:
• Strong Python development experience
• REST/SOAP API integration expertise
• ERP integration experience (Sage X3 or similar preferred)
