We are seeking an Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join our medical staff in Florence, AL. The incoming provider would see patients in the hospital setting and have a block schedule. North Alabama Medical Center (NAMC) is a 263-bed health care organization that opened a replacement hospital in 2019. NAMC has grown into the largest, most comprehensive medical facility in northwest Alabama and serves as the primary referral center for northwest Alabama, south central Tennessee and northeast Mississippi. There are over 200 physicians on staff representing over 42 specialty areas of medicine. North Alabama Medical Center is a primary stroke center and a certified chest pain center. Situated in northwest Alabama on the banks of the Tennessee River, in a two-county region known as the Shoals, Florence has a rich history to share. The area carries forth the ideals of creating a safe, family-friendly place for residents to live. With four gentle and distinct seasons, the Shoals is an outdoor lover’s dream. But there's plenty to do indoors, as well. The Shoals area boasts numerous museums, art galleries, theater groups, and dance studios. It is known worldwide for its music recording industry, and is home to the Alabama Music Hall of Fame. From world-class bass fishing and golf to the renowned W.C.
