Essential Duties
Music Librarians support designated directors by organizing the music library and preparing and maintaining sheet music and related materials for rehearsals and performances.
Duties include:
  • Sort, file, and distribute ensemble music folders.
  • Prepare music packets, label parts, and organize materials for rehearsals and performances.
  • Track borrowed materials and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain inventory of music, folders, and library supplies.
  • Assist musicians and directors in locating music and related materials.
  • Perform clerical tasks, including copying, scanning, filing, and data entry.
  • Handle music materials with care and maintain confidentiality as appropriate.
  • Assist with other related duties as assigned.

This posting will remain open throughout the semester to establish a pool of qualified student applicants for positions as they become available.
Required Qualifications
  • Must be currently enrolled and registered for classes at Angelo State University.
  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Able to follow directions and work independently.
  • Comfortable handling sheet music and using basic office equipment.
  • Available to assist with occasional evening rehearsals and performances.

Preferred Qualifications
